Comment suggestions…This is my watchlist, both to see and have seen. While I wish this could have been the full movie in widescreen, instead this is a truncated version in fullscreen. The film is not nearly as accomplished as Ferroni's horror follow-up, Night of the Devils, but gets the job done with a more-or-less standard retelling and some decent action.Every feature film on the program at the New Beverly Cinema since Quentin Tarantino took over as programmer. Also amusing to me is how the role of Friar Tuck was played by Mario Adorf, who I think is awesome because of the great job he did in movies like Caliber 9 and The Italian Connection. I will presume that the full version has a larger role for Prince John rather than the brief appearance he has here. In contrast to Prince John, Richard is shown to be much stronger looking, and he sports a full mane.
