Tents only in primitive tent sites. There are several other sites that have a lot more privacy and more of a "forest-y" feel... there are also a few sites that look like glorified side-of-the-road camping. It was the last week in May and there was plenty of availability. In 1987, an additional tract was given to the state by Grant Schiewe. The park is operated by Clackamas County Parks.
I was a little annoyed because I had specifically asked if fireworks were allowed and the entire reason for going was to get away from that but they were all small and quiet so it ended up being ok. Our information, reviews and photos suggest that if you have an electric powered device this destination has electric service available. The Narrows is an amazing retreat on a hot mid-summer day. We had the best space in the park- site 57. This park is beautiful. In the fall, steelhead swim up through here to spawn. There's a massive open field for soccer, frisbee, softball, etc.
