That rarely happens when I rewatch something I loved more than 25 years ago. He enters a beatnik club where a woman (Lara Harris) recites a poem in French. Seriously. The best part, though, is the sound track. It captures a moment in time when Seattle was centre of the musical universe briefly. Ok it's a love story, nothing wrong with that, when done well, but it's more than that, it has heart and soul, musical and otherwise.
