Without meal tickets, a meal plan, and a closed cafeteria, it’s easy as a NUFS (Nagoya University of Foreign Studies) exchange student to panic about basic needs and surviving your first few days before your proper orientation. Temperatures start to drop in mid-September and around this time the Japanese archipelago experiences its tropical storm season. It’s been a long while since my last post, but in my defense, classes starting and people visiting has made the time fly right by.
