Aside from the occasional typo or missing period, it is very accurate and free of major errors. The diagrams for the geometry problems and steps are very clear. Connections are made to previously covered concepts, as are analogies to non-mathematical situations. It also includes great resources that are accessible to students and instructors. It contains all the topics typically covered in pre-algebra - from basic arithmetic to decimals, fractions, and percents – as well as several chapters that go beyond the scope of the average pre-algebra course. I appreciate those who made it available free of charge to students.The book covers topics. The student is then introduced to percents, equation solving, and geometry applications. Examples of each type of problem and solutions are presented in a clear manner. The chapter layout and progression through the chapters is well done and comprehensive.
