Warlock I would say has evil connotations, though not even that is a sure thing. Sorcerers are often evil spirits being placed in the womb of a woman and breed till childbirth. They're all essentially the same in the sense they all use magic. In exchange for this power, a warlock's patron will form a pact with him or her: I'll give you magical powers if you do my bidding, sell your soul to me, etc.. Warlocks are usually more malicious in nature. Not a terribly satisfying answer but these terms tend to be used interchangeably and differently across mythologies.Have to agree.
