I am trying to understand the concept of weighting in IB assessment. You simply give the number grade that corresponds to the raw score. It changes every year depending on what the scores are, and it also changes for every timezone. When it comes to adding them all up to find the total score based on weighting, you need to use the “scaling factors” you see on the tables above.
