Alley Cats Strike builds the pressure well, and creates a strong sense of community within the town, even as it shows the downsides to placing such a strong onus on competition. This is a really great story about a towns teen sport jock who gets involuntarily teamed up with local bowling square pegs. When the ball goes by the pins the first time on the right, you can tell it's just a flipped image from before. One great example that might get overlooked occurs about twenty minutes from the beginning: in the bowling hall Todd mentions the rumour that Alex got his clothes in the alley behind the hall. Besides the reason that I'm a kid at heart I honestly think they have good entertainment for the young and old. Most of the young actors are convincing and the eagle-eyed will spot a young Kaley Cuoco from The Big Bang Theory among the bowling buddies. Top jock was signed up in the club as a joke. We enter a whirlwind of meme wishes and cameo dreams that leave our heads spinning in Disney fangirl bliss. At the end of the competition, Todd's bowling results in a A group of hip retro teenage outsiders become involved in an interschool bowling rivalry. I give it 2 thumbs up! Reality check: it's true that this only works if the accuser accepts the humor, but when it works you can feel the reduction in tension. People who have never bowled before in thier lives are throwing like pro's and getting 8's or strikes. Geeks in a bowling club have to save the schools reputation in a long held feud. We did our best to answer those questions for a few of those guys who probably graced many a bedroom wall back in the day.
