We take your confidentiality seriously. If you have a plan with a different carrier, it works just like texting a friend: standard text message rates apply.Nothing will appear on your bill if your cell phone plan is with AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, or Verizon. CCs can access their Profile by logging onto HOME > Platform and selecting the Profile tab on the top of the screen. Both courses cover the same material and have equal requirements. We also do cause marketing campaigns with brands who want to raise money and/or awareness for Crisis Text Line.The mental health impacts of COVID-19 will outlast the virus. However, we understand that sometimes life might happen so will work to support you in meeting this commitment.Crisis Counselors complete a 30-hour training program that includes: video modules that cover (a) specific skills such as active listening; (b) issues such as self-harm, suicide, depression, bullying, and LGBTQ issues, as well as quizzes, role plays, and observations shifts. Crisis Counselors only know what texters share with them, and that information stays between you, unless sharing it with emergency services is absolutely necessary for your safety. We are only able to provide a Letter of Recommendation, and no further personal evaluations or assessments. So, we work with foundations, individuals, and corporations to make sure that anyone in crisis can connect with a Crisis Counselor when they need support.
