It is by far the hardest level in the game, as the Bydo will throw everything they have at you. R-Type Final (PS2 Title Intro) One of the alternate routes turns the player ship into a Bydo, and pits the player against their former allies. This game functions as a (sometimes retroactive) series bible for fans of the series. The stages are rebuilt from scratch for the new game.
