Fortunately, the recipient of the wildly conflicting messages is an awesome genius who completely understands the shortcomings of mere mortals. My body talks to me, I listen and obey. Tagrisso was great while it lasted, the cancer markers went down, he had hardly any side effects and he could even go for short hikes. I had an odd red rash on my legs for a week during the first weeks and a touch of edema in my legs, and both went away. While brain radiation scares me and the oncologist wanted to try the double dose of tagrisso first as he’s had really good success with that. I too hope Tagrisso gives me continued success for a long time.
After starting Tagrisso second line of treatment, how long does it take for the first side effects to appear? Should I take the first pill now? Happy days! They have shrunk by 1/2 and some of them I can't even see anymore.
